What data we collect and why

Account data. When you create an account, we store your email address. This is processed on the basis of contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) to authenticate you and associate purchases with your account.

Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store card numbers or banking details. Stripe provides us with a customer ID, payment intent ID, and subscription status. Processing is necessary for contract performance.

Calculator inputs snapshot. When you purchase a Single Report unlock, we store a snapshot of the calculator inputs you used at the time of purchase. This is retained so you can re-download your paid report and exercise the 72-hour revision window. It is processed on the basis of contract performance.

Profile fields (optional). Engineer Pro subscribers may enter a name, title, company, and stamp image for inclusion in printed reports. These fields are voluntary and stored on the basis of contract performance.

Request logs. Vercel, our hosting provider, may log IP addresses and user-agent strings for operational purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

Calculator inputs in the browser

Calculator inputs not associated with a purchase live entirely in your browser (URL state). They are never sent to our servers unless you initiate a checkout.

Data retention

Account and billing data is retained for as long as your account is active and for five years thereafter to comply with Danish bookkeeping requirements (Bogføringsloven). Inputs snapshots are deleted when your account is deleted.

Third-party processors

We use the following sub-processors, each bound by a data-processing agreement:

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at christiandam77@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
