Scope of the tool
liftinglugcalculator.com is a preliminary-design and quick-verification tool for single-plate lifting lugs and padeyes. It is intended to speed up the first pass of a design review. It is not a certified engineering analysis and is not a substitute for FEA, independent peer review, or full engineering judgement. Results must be verified by a qualified engineer before use in any physical application.
Accounts
An account is required to purchase a report unlock or an Engineer Pro subscription. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Payments and billing
Single Report unlock — $5 USD (one-time). Unlocks one printable engineering report for the input configuration purchased, plus a 72-hour revision window during which you may adjust inputs and re-print without an additional charge.
Engineer Pro — $20 USD/month (subscription). Provides unlimited report generation and access to Pro-only stamp and profile fields. Billed monthly. You may cancel at any time from the Account page; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
All prices are in USD. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
Under EU consumer law you ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. By completing a Single Report checkout you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal once the report has been generated.
For Engineer Pro subscriptions, you may withdraw within 14 days of first subscribing provided you have not yet used any paid features. To request a withdrawal, contact us at christiandam77@gmail.com within the 14-day period.
Outside the withdrawal period, subscription payments are non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge.
Standards references
Where standards (ASME BTH-1, Eurocode 3, DNV-ST-N001) are referenced, the references are to published editions and clause numbers only. The copyrighted text of those standards is not reproduced; the original documents must be obtained from their respective issuing bodies.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any result for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for verifying results and for the final engineering decision.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Danish law, CLD Consulting is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the service — including any damages arising from reliance on calculated results in an engineering context. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for fraudulent purposes. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark, with Aalborg as the venue of first instance, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.
